Do I need a license to rent a motorbike in Vietnam?
WE:
No license is required to rent a bike, but to ride legally you must have an international driver’s permit (IDP) with category A1/A2. In reality, most tourists ride without one, but there’s a risk of fines and problems with insurance in case of an accident.

Are European licenses accepted?
WE:
No, regular national licenses are not valid. You need an IDP or Vietnamese national license with category A.

What documents are needed to rent a bike?
WE:
Just your ID — we’ll take a photo of it. A driver's license is not required for rental, but it is required for legal riding.

What’s the fine for riding without a license?
WE:
If stopped by police without a proper license, you may be fined 200,000–1,000,000 VND (approx. $8–$40). The maximum legal fine as of Jan 1, 2025 is 6,000,000 VND (~$240).

How much is bike rental in Mui Ne?
WE:
Prices start at 70,000 VND/day (~$3). Discounts available for weekly or monthly rentals.

Can I rent a bike for $2/day?
WE:
Rarely. Such offers often involve old bikes or hidden conditions (no support, maintenance issues). We offer fair pricing and reliable bikes — no tricks.

Is a deposit required?
WE:
No, we don’t take deposits or hold your passport. Simple and transparent process.

Do you deliver bikes to hotels?
WE:
Yes, we offer free delivery within the central tourist area (from Aroma Beach Resort to Hoang Ngoc Resort). Delivery outside this zone is available for a fee.

What if the bike breaks down?
WE:
Just contact us. We’ll arrive quickly to fix it or replace the bike.

Can I rent a bike if I’ve never ridden one before?
WE:
Yes, our bikes are beginner-friendly. We’ll guide you. But please be aware: a motorbike is not a toy — accidents can have serious consequences.

Is it hard to ride a scooter?
WE:
It’s quite simple — you just need to keep balance. If you can’t ride a bicycle, we don’t recommend starting with a scooter.

Do you offer discounts for weekly/monthly rentals?
WE:
Yes. We have discounted rates for 10+ days and 30+ days.

Is there insurance included?
WE:
All bikes come with basic local insurance (similar to third-party liability). Full coverage is not available in Vietnam.

Is riding a motorbike in Vietnam safe?
WE:
Yes, if you’re careful. We provide well-maintained bikes and helmets, plus tips for safe riding. Avoid riding at night, during rain, or at high speeds. Never ride under the influence.

What to do in case of an accident?
WE:
Stay calm, stay at the scene, and contact us immediately. Most minor incidents in Vietnam are resolved peacefully without police involvement.
